Crafted from organic cotton and padded with natural cotton batting for extra protection, this bag is 14" in size.

When I came across Anchal while planning what I would carry at Three Bird Layne, I was first struck by the gorgeous patchwork and stitching. More about Anchal: Sisters Maggie and Colleen Clines founded Anchal (pronounced on-chal) in 2010, believing that design can change lives. Anchal provides valuable skills training in textile production and fair-wage employment to marginalized women in India. The holistic program, run by our NGO partner, includes education workshops, health services, and community benefits, fostering financial independence and creativity.⁠ The artisans create handmade products that blend traditional techniques with eco-friendly methods like vintage and organic cotton, minimizing environmental impact and championing sustainability in the fashion industry. Each product carries the hand-stitched signature of the woman who skillfully created it. ⁠
