A note from Liz: I have been a fan of artist Janet Hill's work for years. Often the painting titles are clues about the story she hopes you will find, but when you look closer, there always seem to be more stories waiting. With this one, it's that blue nail polish that invites you to realize our Victorian heroine has done more than just read this book.
More about this card: This card is blank inside and depicts one of Janet Hill's paintings. The card is 4.25"x5.5" folded has gold foil text, and was printed in Canada on 100lb recycled card stock. It is packaged in a clear cello sleeve with matching white envelope.
A little more about the artist: Janet Hill is a Canadian artist and author. Her work is both elegant, yet whimsical, often with an underlying narrative that instantly captures the imagination. Currently her list of interests includes but is not limited to the following: dollhouses, sea monsters, ESP, witches, lady villains (preferably ones that wear monocles), non fiction books, dogs and cats, vintage cars, old Hollywood haunted houses (preferably ones near lakes, Greek mythology, lairs (preferably ones located in dormant volcanoes), tornadoes, folklore, and understanding why her husband owns over 50 books about Bob Dylan.
